Why am I able to hear my classes, but not see them?
There's a setting in Chrome that could be interfering with the class video player for devices using Windows 10. The setting can be turned off, it's called Hardware Acceleration. When this feature is turned on, it can cause video and/or audio issues with video streaming.
To turn off the Hardware Acceleration setting:
- Open Google Chrome and click the three vertical dots icon to the far right of the address bar, then choose Settings.
- At the bottom of the settings page, choose "Advanced"
- Scroll down the page again until you find the System heading, below which is an option to 'Use hardware acceleration when available'. Remove the tick from this box to turn off hardware acceleration (the feature is off when the button is grey.)
