Trouble Downloading/Printing a Pattern

All patterns on Craftsy are digital PDF downloads that will require a PDF reader on your device to open.  Please note that free patterns must still be added to your cart and "checked out" before they will be available in your Craftsy account to download.

From the full site:

If you are having trouble downloading your patterns, or the PDF appears in odd characters, please make sure you have the latest version Adobe Reader. This is available for FREE here. Once you download the pattern, save it to a folder on your computer and print at your convenience.

If you're having trouble starting the download, make sure your internet browser is in its most up to date version.  We highly recommend Google Chrome for your internet browsing.

Note: Sometimes a pattern will have multiple pages or files, and the designer will "zip" the files together.  You will need to unzip these files to download them.  There are a number of free zip services, depending on your device or computer.

From the mobile app:

To download your pattern from the app, simply tap Account along the bottom bar and you'll see Pattern Library along the left side of the screen. Tap on the pattern you're ready to get started on, and you'll see an icon in the top right corner to download.

If you're having trouble printing from the iOS app, you'll need to make sure your printer is configured to be able to print from your device. You can read more about how to check that out here, and then try printing your pattern again.

If you're having trouble printing from the Android App, you can read more about how to configure that on your device here.   Once you're all set up there, try printing your pattern again.
